Abstract:The feasibility of debittering vodka base liquor with ceramic membrane was discussed. The vodka base liquor was filtered through different pore size ceramic membrane of 10, 20, 50 and 100 nm and by crossflow or dead-end model. The filtration flux, differential pressure, temperature and other parameters were recorded and calculated. Samples of the permeate were tasted by experts. Results reveal that the vodka base liquor filtered by 20nm ceramic membrane in dead end model was clear and transparent, and debittering effect is prominent. Dead end filtration is one of the effective solutions for debittering of vodka base liquor.
