    Abstract:

An effective two-dimensional electrophoresis system was developed to determine the total protein from "huiyulu" peach fruit in this study. The optimum conditions for total protein detection were listed as follows: phenol extraction,800 μg protein sample,17 cm IPG strip with pH 4-7,and finally detecting proteins with modified colloidal coomassie brilliant blue G-250 staining. With the optimum conditions,a high quality 2-DE map with low background was achieved.
