    Abstract:

    To establish a method for the total coumarins content at the wavelength of 348 nm,scopoletin was used as the reference substance.The linear range was 0~0.020 mg/mL,r=0.999 2. The average recovery was 102.44%,RSD=1.81%(n=9). Ultraviolet spectrometry was developed to determine total coumarins in noni juice fermented with different time. The contents of Noni jucie fermented with 25~500 d were in 0.176~0.243 mg/mL range. This method is simple,rapid,accurate and repeatability,which can be applicable for determination of coumarins content in liquid samples and the result was stable with the fermentation time extended.
