Abstract:Xylanase is widely used in biotechnology related areas,such as food processing,pulp bio-bleaching,animal feed additive,ethanol production,bio-conversion,and so on.Compared with G/11 xylanase,F/10 xylanase is more advantageous in thermostability,acidic resistance and alkaliphilic ability.This manuscript reviewed the related genes,enzyme 3D structure,catalysis mechanism of this family,especially about its thermostability and genetic engineering,which is useful for further investigation of property and deeper usage in industries.

Abstract:Food extrusion technology is a growing interesting research area and exhibit a hot of advantages in various processing technology,high yield,stable quality of product,extensive applicability of the raw material,when compared with that of the single-screw extrusion technology.This manuscript reviewed the application of twin-screw extrusion technology on the textured protein production,dietary fiber processing,immersion oil of food,instant food,high-protein grain food and candy processing,and the effects of twin-screw extruder on food nutrient composition.Also,the perspective of twin-screw extrusion technology in food industry was provided in this manuscript.

Abstract:The antioxidation capacities and relationship of 14 various colors peanut were investigated in this manuscript through examining the active oxygen resistance reactivity units(AORRU),superoxide anion resistance reactivity units(SARRU),total antioxidant reactivity units(TARU),flavonoid compounds,Vc contents,protein contents and pigments concentrations.Significantly differences were observed in the peanut varieties and in different parts of same peanut kernel.The main results were achieved:(1)There were genotype differences in flavonoid compounds,Vc contents,protein contents and pigments concentrations of peanut kernel;(2) the highest flavonoid compounds and Vc contents in seed coats;(3)highest free amino acids content in embryo;(4) the pigments concentrations in seed coat of white peanut was not the lowest.Furthermore,the results demonstrated that the antioxidation capacities of peanut were significantly positive related to the total free amino acids content and the flavonoid compounds,but the protein content shown negative role on the antioxidation capacities and the flavonoid compounds.

Abstract:The effect of power ultrasound on freezing rate was influenced by ultrasound power,exposure time and the ultrasound pulsed to which ultrasound was applied.The response surface analysis was showed that the texture and the water-holding power of edamame after thawing was 6.05 kg/cm2,92% when 58 W ultrasound power was applied for 0.7 min,50%pulsed at the coolant temperature of-20 ℃.

Abstract:The impact of combined water-retention agents including carrageenan,modified starch and sodium citrate on the quality of microwavable pre-fried chicken strings was studied.According to the results of single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment,the influence of water-retention agents on fried weight loss ratio was in the order of:modified starch>carrageenan>sodium citrate.The results showed that the optimal concentrations of modified starch,carrageenan,sodium citrate in the formula were 0.05%,0.30%,0.05%,with a water holding capacity equal to the mixed phosphates.During the frozen storage,water loss ratio under microwave of products with non-phosphorous water-retention agents was much lower than that of traditional phosphates.Our results indicated that products with non-phosphorous water-retention agents maintained good water holding capacity after frozen storage for 40 days.

Abstract:In this manuscript,the effect of different freezing point regulators on the the crucian crap block freezing point was investigated and optimized through the response surface design.The optimum conditions described as follows:sorbitol content 1.74%,calcium chloride content 5.15%,sodium chloride content 2.13%.with the optimum conditions,the freezing point of the crucian crap block decreased to-1.6 ℃.

Abstract:The target of this research was to investigate the tonic effects of Cornel polysaccharide on liver and kidney in mice through kidney-yin deficiency model,CCl4-induced acute liver injury model and low-immunity model.it was found that cornel polysaccharide significantly(1)increase the swimming time,hypoxia tolerance time,serum SOD activity;(2) decrease MDA level and the serum hemolysin level;(3) decrease ALT,AST in injured mice serum and MDA in injured liver tissue;(4)but increase SOD activity in injured liver tissue.those results strong suggested that Cornel polysaccharide significantly enhance the body-specific immune function,inhibit acute liver injure and improve the symptoms of kidney-yin deficiency significantly.Furthremore,the results proven that Cornel polysaccharide has the nourishing effect on the liver and kidney in mice.

Abstract:The objective of this study was to explore the protective effects of Mesona blumes extracts on carbon tetrachloride induced liver injury in mice.Seventy male mice were randomly divided into seven groups(model control group,positive control group,ethanol extracts group,low dosage,middle dosage and high dosage of water extracts groups).The mice in the above groups were fed for 30 days.ALT,AST,Alb,TG in serum and SOD,MDA,GSH,GSH-PX in liver tissue were measured and compared.It was found that water extracts of Mesona blumes significantly increased the values of AST(P<0.01),ALT(P<0.05),Alb(P<0.05),TG(P<0.01) in serum and MDA(P<0.01),GSH,GSH-PX(P<0.01) in liver tissue,respectively.However,no obvious difference was detected at the SOD activities(P>0.05).Also,There is no remarkable difference between different dosage of water extracts groups and bifendate pills groups(P>0.05).Ethanol extracts of Mesona blumes wasn’t found to effectively decreased liver damage in terms of above mentioned biochemical parameters compare to model control group.Those results indicated that water extracts of Mesona blumes plays a significant protective role on liver injury which induced by carbon tetrachloride.

Abstract:In this manuscript,the effect of bone collagen peptide and glutathione(GSH) on the total antioxidant capacity,hydroxyl radical scavenging and superoxide anion free radical inhibition was carefully investigated.It was found that this peptide exhibited:(1) 71.92% total antioxidant capacity that of GSH at the range of 2.5 mg/mL~20 mg/mL;(2) 1.36 times hydroxyl radical scavenging that of GSH at the range of 2.5 mg/mL~20 mg/mL;(3) But superoxide anion free radical inhibition of this peptide was lower than that of GSH at the range of 10 mg/mL~150 mg/mL.The results indicated that bone collagen peptide is a perfect peptide on antioxidation function.

Abstract:In this study,the anti-oxidant and hepato-protective effect of Spirulina plantensis on D-galactosamine(D-GalN) induced liver injury in mice were investigated.ICR mice were fed a control diet(AIN-93G) or a diet contaning 5% Spirulina plantensis for one week and on the last day of feeding the mice were treated with D-GalN(300 mg/kg body weight,i.p.).The serum glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase(GOT) and glutamate pyruvate transaminase(GPT) activities,hepatic malondialdehyde(MDA),reduced glutathione(GSH) and vitamin C levels were determined 6 h later by kits or by the method of TBARS,DTNB or DNPH,respectively.It was found that D-GalN induced increased in serum GOT,GPT and hepatic MDA level,but decreased in the GSH and vitamin C content.The results presented here demonstrated that Spirulina plantensis exhibited a significant antioxidant and protective on the D-GalN induced hepatotoxicity.

Abstract:The target of this manuscript was to extract,purify and identify an organic iodide with the iodine supplementation activity from kelp.The maximum yields of organic iodine and total iodine were obtained when the kelp was extracted in 50~55 ℃ for 10~12 h and then 79% of organic iodine was recovered from kelp in the isoelectric precipitation in pH 5.0-5.3.At last,80 mg pure organic active iodide was acquired through paper chromatography.By compared with that of the standard material and determined by mass chromatogram and infra-red spectrogram,the purified compound with iodine complementing function was identified as 3,5-diiodo-l-tyrosine(DIT).

Abstract:In this manuscript,response surface methodology was applied to optimize the extraction conditions of lavender oleoresin from Lavandula angustifolia Mill on the base of single factors experiments and the optimum process conditions for lavender oleoresin described as follow: solvent was petroleum ether,extracting time was 1.85 h,solvent/solid ratio was 9.6: 1 and extracting temperature was 87 ℃.The predictive maximum yield of lavender oleoresin was 4.09%.The average yield of lavender oleoresin in 3 validation experiments was 4.10%.The relative error was 0.24%.

Abstract:A fast and reliable SudanI determine method with ELISA and anti-SudanI McAb 12D8 was developed in this study.It was found that the determination limitation was 4.22 ng/mL and the linear range of the inhibition curve was 7.8-125 ng/mL,respectively.In the detection of the samples of mixed chilli powder with SudanI(80~4000 ng/g),extracted with methanol:water(70:30,v/v),the recovery rate of Sudan Ⅰ in the samples ranged from 52.3% to 110%,and the coefficients of variation was 3.2% to 8.9%.

Abstract:With the target to develop a rapidly and quantified assay method for trace amounts of formaldehyde in aquatic product logistics,the composition of reaction system,like the concentration of phloroglucinol,sodium hydroxide,and colorimetric reagent were optimized and described as follows: 0.01% phloroglucinol,2% sodium hydroxide(2%) under the volume ratio(measured liquid:colorimetric reagent) condition of 2∶1.With the optimum conditions,the determination limit and the recovery rate can reach at 0.1 mg/mL and 96%~102%,respectively.

Abstract:The national cation exchanger(Zhengguang CM-Agrose Fast Flow) was integrated evaluated on its physic properties,functional group density,static and dynamic adsorption properties.Besides,the adsorbents were used to purification of lysozyme from egg white.As a result,it was found that the physic properties of CM-Agrose FF include density,water content and size distribution are up to the requirement.The functional group density reaches 187 mmol/mL,which is higher than CM Sepharose FF.The static and dynamic adsorption of lysozyme reach 107.0 and 90.3 mg/mL(100 cm/h),respectively,which indicated that the adsorbents could fulfil the efficient adsorption of proteins.Lysozyme was successfully purified from egg white using the cation exchanger.The purity of lysozyme was more than 95% and the yield reached 4.1 mg/mL egg white.

Abstract:In this study,Lactobacilli were rapidly classified and identified by the combinational method of 16S rDNA PCR and Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism(RFLP).Fifty one strains of Lactobacillus were isolated from traditional homemade fermented milk in Tibet,China.The 16S rDNA of all isolates were amplified by universal primers,and amplification productions were digested using a set of restriction enzymes,AluI,HaeIII and HinfI.Polyacrylamide gel electrophoregram analysis indicated that the lactobacilli could be clearly identified at the species level.Further studies on 16S rDNA sequences,physiological and biochemical test of 8 different strains showed that 16S rDNA PCR-RFLP analysis is rapid and easy way to identify large scale of Lactobacillus.

Abstract:A new biocatalysts(MTG) was employed in this research to immobilize lysozyme on the wool fabrics.Based on the feasibility by SDS-PAGE which MTG was able to catalyze lysozyme,the research discussed the immobilizing conditions as well as the washing stability and the antibacterial action.The result was that lysozyme can be immobilized in the wool which was pretreated by chemical agents,particularly potassium permanganate.The immobilizing conditions defined by this research as follows: 2 g/L lysozyme,pH value 7.0,immobilizing for 8 h with the MTG 20 U/g.In these conditions the wool would obtain better washing stability and antibacterial action than that immobilized only by adsorption.

Abstract:This manuscript describes the isolation of LX1 strain producing solvent-tolerant lipase from areas contaminated by crude oil and chemicals under the screening pressure of 10%(V/V)toluene.The isolate LX1 was identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa by the analysis of 16S rDNA sequence.The optimal pH and temperature for lipase activity was 7.0 and 40 ℃,indicating the characteristic of neutral and medium temperature lipase.High stability of LX1 lipase was observed under a wide range of pH(6.5-10.5),and it was stable below 40 ℃.The chelating agent EDTA and metal ions such as Ba2+,Ca2+ had significantly activated the activity of LX1 lipase.This suggested that it could be a metal activated enzyme.LX1 lipase showed good tolerance in many kinds of 25%(V/V)hydrophilic and hydrophobic solvents.In the presence of n-Hexadecane,n-Tetradecane,n-Dodecane,n-Octanol,n-Heptitol and n-Hexanol,the half-life of LX1 lipase was markedly prolonged to 10 d;Additionally,in the presence of propylene glycol,DMF and DMSO,the half-life of LX1 lipase was prolonged to 5 d,which were higher than the half-life without organic solvents.These results indicated that LX1 lipase has potential application in organic solvents.

Abstract:In order to improve the foam stability of beer,papain,pepsin and alcalase were used as limited enzymatic modification of wheat gluten,and the feasibility of which using as foaming proteins in beer was studied in this paper.Results showed that the solubility and foaming properties were significantly improved(p<0.05) by limited hydrolysis,and gluten hydrolysates have good thermal stability in beer.Haze of beers containing 100mg/L gluten hydrolysates didn’t increase significantly(p>0.05) after heat treatment for 30 minutes at 65 ℃.Both pepsin-assisted gluten hydrolysates and alcalase-assisted gluten hydrolysates can improve the initial foam stability of beer greatly.However,the pepsin-assisted gluten hydrolysates are not suitable to be used in unpasteurized beer because it is sensitive to the hydrolysis of proteinase A.Foam stability of unpasteurized beer during storage can be obviously improved by alcalase-assisted gluten hydrolysates.

Abstract:In this manuscript,the conditions for corn stalk by β-glucanase were carefully investigated by single factors experiment and orthogonal experiments and described as follows: dosage of enzyme>pH>reaction temperature>reaction time.The best condition of degrading corn stalk with β-glucanase is dosage of enzyme 25.86×104 U/g,pH 4.5,reaction temperature 45 ℃,reaction time 15 h.With the optimum conditions,the degradation rate was achieved at 41.96%.

Abstract:In this study,the nutritional and environmental conditions of a laccase produce strain,Pycnoporus sp.SYBC-L1,were investigated and optimized though single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments.The optimum conditions described as follows: wheat bran cooking liquor 60 g/L,glucose 60 g/L,soybean powder 15 g/L and CuSO4 ·5H2O 1.0 mmol/L,pH 3.0,temperature 30 ℃,and culture volumn 50 mL/250 mL,respectively.With those optimum conditions,the laccase activity reached at 24.95 U/mL after 13 days culture.

Abstract:The objective of this study was to investigate protective effects and mechanism of Forsythia suspensa leavies(FLA) aqueous extract on mitochondrial injury induced by free radicals.Process: The neck back of mice were injected subcutaneously with D-galactose to induce aging model at a dose of 100 mg/(kg·d)for 7 weeks and a set of interesting results were achieved: FLA efficient inhibit mitochondrial injury and swelling induced by Fe2+-L-Cys in a concentration-dependent manner and also had significant O2˙-scavenging effect.Moreover,the activities of CAT,SOD,GSH-Px and anti-hydroxyl radical in mice liver homogenate were increased significantly by FLA.FLA protects mitochondria by scavenging reactive oxygen species,and increasing the activities of antioxidases.The results present here strong suggested that FLA is a potential drug for antioxidant and anti-aging.

Abstract:In this study,an ultrasonic-assisted extraction method was developed to extract 1-deoxynojirimycin(DNJ) from mulberry leaves and the process parameters of extraction were optimized by single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment.and acquired as follows: the ultrasonic power of 125 W,solid to water ratio of 1∶40,the extraction temperature of 70 ℃,and the extraction time of 20 min.with the optimum conditions,The yield and purity of DNJ was achieved at 0.091% and 27.2%.

Abstract:The effect of culture conditions on the cholesterol removal rate by Lactococcus lactis was carefully investigated in this study.The cholesterol removal rate was increased with the increasing of culture time during 0~72 h then kept constant level at 72~96 h,but declined decreased after 96 h.Also,the inoculation amount exhibited stimulation on the cholesterol removal rate.Without cholate presents in culture medium,the cholesterol removal rate reached at the lowest value(4.51%),when 0.1 to 0.3 mg/mL cholate was feed to the media,the cholesterol removal rate was increasing.The rate of removal cholesterol declined when more 0.3 mg/mL cholate supplemented to the media.Furthermore,sodium taurocholate demonstrated the highest cholesterol removal effect.

Abstract:To obtain high efficient degradation bacteria of hemoglobin,strain NJM4 from slaughterhouse sewer in Nanjing was isolated by blood agar plate.The ability of degeneration hemoglobin was assessed by hematolysis circle ratio.Initially,the strain was identified as Bacillus pumilus based on morphology observation,physicochemical characteristics and 16S rRNA sequence analysis(GenBank ID:EU234500).The results showed that the hemoglobin could be degraded into small molecular multi-peptides,and after 24 h incubation under 37 ℃,120 r/min,the degradation rate of hemoglobin could reach to 53.64%.

Abstract:The process parameters of extraction CoQ10 from Agrobacterium were carefully investigated and then validated by pilot-scale test in this manuscript.The optimum process parameters were decided as follows: firstly,extracting twice(one hour each time) using 5X 95%enthanol at 50 ℃ followed by a concentrated step then extracting three times at room temperature using a extraction system ratio of 1∶2∶3(concentrated solution∶methanol∶Petroleum ether) and finally concentrating Petroleum ether phase,through one step of Silica Gel-Alumina Column purification,two to three steps of recrystalization by enthanol to obtain the aim product.The pilot-scale test shown the process gives a purity of over 99%,percentage recovery over 80%.
